The CHARM lab was recently invited to participate in an undergraduate student job fair hosted by Alpha Epsilon Delta. Alpha Epsilon Delta is nationwide pre-health honors society that provides professional development opportunities, networking, and community service opportunities for undergraduate students pursuing health professions as part of their academic studies. The University of South Carolina chapter counts more than 250 students amongst its membership, and many of them are interested in getting involved in research opportunities on campus. CHARM lab members attended the job fair to answer students’ questions about how to get involved with the research team and how to apply for grant funding from the Office of Undergraduate Research and SC Honors College. AED members appreciated hearing from fellow students about their experiences working with our lab. For more information about Alpha Epsilon Delta, please visit the USC chapter’s website. We look forward to attending this job fair next year!
