CHARM Lab undergraduate RAs John Bruno and Sofia Randazzo recently received two joint Magellan Awards for their ongoing collaborations with Dr. Fillo. The Magellan Scholar and Magellan Mini awards fund research, scholarly and creative projects in collaboration with faculty mentors across all campuses and disciplines. Bruno and Randazzo’s joint project will involve the completion of a scoping review focused on the risk of alcohol use and related problems among the student service member and veterans population. The scoping review, completed in collaborated with Dr. Fillo, will focus on identifying literature gaps for this topic and will inform future research on this popuation. Congratulations to John, Sofia, and Dr. Fillo on their funding to produce important research on this underserved population!
