Julia recently was awarded a Magellan Scholar Grant to support the work she will do in the CHARM Lab from May of 2026 to the end of the Spring 2027 semester. In her project, Julia will examine the prevalence and potential consequences of secondary traumatic stress among military spouses. To achieve this aim, she intends on utilizing data from Operation: SAFETY (Soldiers and Families Excelling Through the Years), a longitudinal study examining health among US Army Reserve and National Guard soldiers and their spouses. Julia plans to submit a manuscript summarizing her findings, and to present her work at conferences in the Spring. Congratulations, Julia!
